Welcome to Diamond D Ranch

Welcome to our new herd sire, RM Super Whirl! Super Whirl is a wonderful Superbowl son with just over 75" of total horn and he is only 4 years old! We are excited to have him here and are looking forward to his calves!

Diamond D Ranch, located just south of Dallas in Red Oak, Texas, officially opened its pastures to its first longhorns in November 2005. Our starting herd was made up of eight wonderful cows purchased from an established ranch out of Palmer, TX. Since then, we have increased our herd through auctions, private treaty purchases, and the arrival of new calves.

We purchased an additional 160 acres at the beginning of 2005 and began making preparations for our new longhorn friends. While there are always improvements to be made, we feel as though we have turned the property into a fully operational longhorn ranch. Our goal is to breed and sell quality longhorns with productive genetics and plenty of horn, and we hope others have as much fun with them as we do. We feature some of the best genetics in the breed including Emperor, Senator, Working Man Chex, Overwhelmer, Superbowl and Monarch. We believe we have and are breeding some outstanding longhorns.
